Meet Jimena
Originally from Southern California, I now call the coast of North Carolina home, where my husband, daughter, dog and I are building a life that feels slower, simpler, and deeply connected to the outdoors.
Outside of photography, you'll usually find me chasing a sunrise, hiking a new trail, cooking dinner, or planning our next trip. I love slow mornings, sewing, wandering through antique and thrift shops, and finding beautifully made pieces that stand the test of time. I'm a firm believer that fewer, better things will always outlast passing trends.
I've always been drawn to thoughtful design, beautiful architecture, and the little details that often go unnoticed. Whether it's discovering a tucked-away café while traveling or spending an afternoon on the coast with a camera in hand, I'm happiest when I'm creating, exploring, and soaking up everyday moments.
The quiet glances, the unexpected laughter, the moments in between..those are the memories that stay with us long after the day is over.
I believe the best photographs are the ones you never had to pose for. I create a space where you can relax, be yourselves, and stay present while I gently guide you when needed. My goal isn't to manufacture moments..it's to notice and document the ones that naturally unfold.
Getting to know my clients is one of my favorite parts of this work. The more comfortable you feel, the more your personality shines through, and that's what makes your gallery feel uniquely yours.
